There is this debate among Iranian, Indian and Spanish national that every one of them claims that the best saffron comes from his/her country. Speaking of saffron and the weather these days, I’d like to share this simple and great recipe. This is a simple and great food as the weather gets warmer.
Ingredients:
1) Melt the butter and add in oilve oil
2) add chopped/crushed garlic (medium heat) until translucent
3) add in shrimp and saute for about 4 minutes and add in saffron
4) add in lime segment and juice and stir for another minute
5) Pour white wine and stir for another minute.
6) Turn the heat off, add in chopped parsley.
7) serve on rice or angel hair pasta.
Please do not replace shrimp with Tofu. Tofu has no character.
Cheers!
